“I cannot say where these come from… I think it’s the child in me… but I’m comfortable with that”.
Conti was born in New York City and spent his childhood in Vero Beach.
He makes use of naive imagery which suggests objects associated with children and their fantasies. Conti has established a life-long art practice. He moved to Miami, worked as a hairdresser, all the while creating dynamic expressive paintings in his free time and selling them to his clients. His paintings have won “Best of Show” for the last two years at the Armory Art Center Annual Exhibition in West Palm Beach. This is his first gallery representation.
Lives and works in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
